The rosary is used in Catholic prayer sometimes as penance for sins and sometimes to promote faith. There are certain prayers for certain times of year. The beads by the cross are the special prayer or the one bead is the Lord’s prayer "Our father…" The three beads after that are the "hail mary" prayer. The one bead after that is the Lord’s prayer again. Then the special prayer for that day of the week, month, year etc. is said based on how religious the family is. After that every bead in the group of 10 is the "hail Mary" and every single bead separating the group of 10 beads is the Lords prayer.

Lord’s Prayer as said by Catholics:
"Our father, who art in heaven hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespassers as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever Amen."

Hail Mary:
"Hail Mary, full of grace, the lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen."

these ritualistic pagan beads are NOT Holy nor do they have any Biblical support, catholics use these as do some pagan groups I am told, they pray to/through Mary with these, also No Biblical Truth to support such an act..they are not pretty they are eery….got a white one in my ol catechism book somewhere’s, should I ever find it, it’s trashbound……God Bless

two things, they’re made to pray the Rosary; They’re dedications to one of the three names in a Exorcism, Mary the Mother of God- Jesus the Christ and Micheal the Archangel being the other 2. They are reminders just like a cross to demons and devils of Christ, they’re also protected by Christ because they carry a Cross (DOUBLE PROTECTION!). Second if they’re blessed by a priest or bishop they have the Protection of Christ’s Bride, The Catholic Church. That would be a triple whammy.
Hense why they can be soo strong to ward of evil creatures, the beauty of the Rosary is that Mary marks her miracles with the scent of Roses (hence the name).
Not Holy but is a tool.

What?!

Look, I’m an atheist and all but I was raised Catholic, and whoever told you that is full of sh*t. Rosary beads are used for prayer. That’s all. I never had to use them to fend of Dracula or any such nonsense.

The rosary is only to help you pray. It is not for warding off paranormal things or demons. All religions have their share of superstitious people, including the Catholic Church.
