OMG! recently i got obsessed with friendship bracelet, it’s called embroidery floss. ah i wish i knew you so i could teach you all the patterns i know!!!! but is hard unless in person but this should help:

I think the best is the embroidery floss.
I get it from Michael’s and it works well :]

iv made a hundred of these braclets!! but you can use..
gimp (its plastic like, comes in many difrent colors)
hemp(light brown and looks like wood)
embroidery floss ( thin, you can have it in many diffrent colors)

I always used to use the string from walmart they come in many colors and you can add beads or whatever. Another suggestion may be hemp? you can even make necklaces too!

It's called embroidery floss. You can get it at any art/craft store. You can usually buy big multipacks of the stuff for $10-$15.
