how do you know when your earrings can be removed after piercing ?

i got mine pierced way back in april, but i took it off after a week, so they closed and then i had to get it pierced again the following week . so now i’ve waited for about 3 months and i was wondering how to know when they are ready to be taken off . thx(:

o you have to wait 6-8 weeks, then you can CHANGE them but you have to have a post back earring in your ear for the majority of the time (you can take them out for sports games/practise or watever just put them back in as soon after as possible) for the first 6th months. They are pretty much permanent after that. Also, as the time lengthens since youve gotten them pierced, you can keep them out for longer periods of time. Be careful when you change earrings the first few times as your ears can become infected if the skin is not quite healed yet.

    3 month is fine you can remove them now, dont wait to long before adding new ones though, leave it longer than 1 month the hole will start to close again

    Do you feel like the skin is sticking to the earring when you twist them? If you take them out overnight do they close up? Then you need to leave them in a bit longer.

    They should be ready by now, if you ‘ve kept up with the cleaning and twisting.
