Can I reverse/stop tarnishing of cheap gold coloured jewellery?
I often purchase cheap gold jewellery from high street stores. However, often the gold colour rubs off and the metal is left a coppery-bronze colour. Is there any way I can prevent this or get the jewellery back to its original gold colour?
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated, I love some of my cheap jewellery even more than my real, expensive jewellery!
I love my cheapo’s too but they turn my fingers green!
Prior to wearing them I paint them with clear fingernail polish. Usually 2 coats to keep it from chipping and I never turn green again!

before you even start to wear your jewellry, coat it in clear nail varnish, you will have to keep retouching, but i’ve found it works

Keep the jewellery in a bag when not being used as exposure to the chemicals in the air is what causes the tarnishing.
Try putting your tarnished jewellery in a bowl with some warm water, salt and baking soda, this can remove most of the tarnishing
