Anyone have any guide on how to make your own coconut jewelry?

I need a guide that can describe the process starting with the raw coconut shell.

First you have to have the correct coconuts- it's made out of 3 specific kinds. You cut up that hard outer layer and make shapes, beads or chips. Most people run them through a tumbler to clean them up. It's very similar to making wooden beads or jewelry- you can use the same carving tools. Same with the tumbler- use the wood treatment to polish them up.

I would check your local libary for books on it too!
