How do you remove barbell jewelry?

I got my ear pierced with a barbell and it’s been six weeks so I can remove it now… but I don’t know how O:
it’s a straight barbell.
And I tried twisting it but it just made my ear hurt…

Go back to your piercer,
and tell him/her to take it out.
Just screw of the little ball things.
ORR get like a pliers or something and twist the one end off.

    wow, that was helpful of the person above. you’d think if she hated them so much she’d be more interested in helping you get it out! lol

    anyway…my friend had one of those and on hers one of the balls just screwed off at one end. Then she could slip the rest out like a regular earring

    Is it a circular Barbell or a straight/curve barbell? Just twist the balls at both ends, it’s like a screw.
