How often can you switch jewelry for lip piercings?

I wanna get my lip pierced. Ive never gotten anything pierced. I am wondering, how often could you switch jewelry on your lip? I mean, could i get 2 sets of jewelry (i wanna get snakebites) and have one of the sets rings and one set studs and be able to switch wearing them every other week? Or is there some reason that i cant?

You can change them as often as you want, once they are healed.

How long that will take varies from person to person.

    Well, i got my lip pierced with a hoop, and after it healed, I’ve never been able to get a stud through. Though I know others who have, I think it just matters how your hole heals.
    But if you want to switch back and forth between hoops and studs, get your lip pierced WITH a stud. Then you can use both.

    And after it fully heals (4-6 weeks) you can change it whenever you want. I had to have a spacer for school, so I’d change into a spacer in the morning, then after school change back to a hoop.
