Boil for about 15 minutes - don't let it boil dry -add more water if necessary. The chemical reaction between the aluminium and salt will re-oxidize the black tarnish back to silver.<br><b>References : </b><br> Place silver jewellery in a small saucepan (an aluminium one if you have one – try an op shop) – add boiling water and small pieces of aluminium foil and a deaaser spoon of salt.
