You can use wrapped candies and tie them to the ribbon with small pieces of ribbon. * STEP 2: Cut a piece of thin ribbon long enough to slip easily over child's head after it is tied. * STEP 3: Thread ribbon onto a plastic needle (which is safer for little ones). * STEP 4: Have different candies in small bowls within easy reach of each child. You may have to make a couple of bowls of each candy to go around the table. * STEP 5: Be ready to help with small problems or let older children help the younger ones. This way they get to make a necklace and still look cool. * STEP 6: When the necklace is full, tie ends of ribbon together and tie a gingerbread cookie to the middle of the necklace.
