What necklaces goes with different necklines?

I have mostly square, v-neck, scoopneck and some off the shoulder or boatneck type tops/dresses but i don't know what type of jewelry to wear with them like chokers, regular length necklaces or long length necklaces, etc.

Can anyone plz advice? THANK YOU VERY MUCH :D

I personally think the higher the neckline to longer the necklace should be, but a deep neckline should be a short necklace
